Accessibility Statement
1. Compliance Status
Champion Scan is currently in partial compliance with IS 5568 / WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We are an early-stage beta product and actively working to address known gaps. The known limitations listed below are being tracked for resolution.
2. Measures Taken
The following accessibility measures have been implemented:
- Keyboard navigation is supported throughout the application. All interactive elements are reachable by Tab key.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators are provided on all interactive elements (
:focus-visiblewith a 2px blue outline). - Error messages use
role="alert"so screen readers announce them immediately. - Decorative charts and illustrations include
role="img"and descriptivearia-labelattributes. - A skip-navigation link is provided on the login page to bypass repeated header content.
- Page language is declared (
lang="en") to support assistive technology. - Form labels are explicitly associated with their inputs via
for/idattributes. - The application does not use time-limited sessions that would log users out unexpectedly.
- No content flashes more than three times per second (seizure risk prevention).
3. Known Limitations
The following known issues represent gaps in full WCAG 2.0 AA compliance. We are working to address them:
role="columnheader", scope attributes). Screen reader users may find it harder to navigate.
4. Technologies Used
Champion Scan is built with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Some charting functionality is provided by an embedded third-party widget. We have limited control over the accessibility of third-party embedded components.
5. Feedback and Contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format, please contact us. We aim to respond within 14 business days.
